For three years, Maggie has baffled her owners with her penchant for squeezing into the tiniest spaces whenever she needs some shut-eye. Despite being fully grown, Maggie’s affinity for snug sleeping spots remains unchanged. Martensen humorously shares that Maggie seems to gravitate towards “anywhere that is tight” and has an uncanny ability to find even the most unconventional places to nap. Initially finding her unusual naptime choices incredibly cute, Martensen soon realized that Maggie’s behavior was more than just a quirk—it was her way of seeking comfort and security. “First, I thought this was the cutest thing in the world, but then I realized that it’s her way of finding a safe place,” he explains.

Maggie’s peculiar sleeping antics caught the attention of the online community after a video of her snugly napping in a small crevice was shared on TikTok (@maggieandherdads). In a matter of days, the video garnered an astounding 2.3 million views and received over 271,000 likes. This level of attention isn’t new for Maggie, who has been an internet star for around two years.
