Two horse trainers in Idaho were caught on video violently beating a defenceless horse as it lay on the ground. The footage is horrifying — showing them kicking, whipping, and striking the animal with a metal pipe and a plank of wood. This wasn’t discipline. It was pure cruelty.
Despite the brutality, Idaho law still treats first-time animal abuse as a misdemeanour — with possible fines as low as $100. That’s barely a slap on the wrist.
The horse is now safe, but without urgent legal reform, these abusers — and others like them — could soon be back around animals.
Sign the petition now to demand Idaho lawmakers make first-offense animal cruelty a felony. Real justice means real consequences — including banning abusers from working with or owning animals again.
Sign the petition now and stand up for those who can’t speak for themselves.
