The UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) just released a report that dangerously downplays the climate impact of animal agriculture—despite overwhelming scientific consensus that reducing meat consumption is critical to fighting Climate change.

The report cherry-picks data and ignores the science, suggesting we should expand livestock farming rather than reduce it. This is a reckless move. Livestock contributes up to 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and dietary shifts could reduce emissions by up to 40 times more than the report claims.

Over 20 scientists and 79 organisations have called out the FAO’s “egregious errors.” We need accurate information to guide global climate action—not industry-serving spin.

Sign the petition now to demand the FAO retract this misleading report and publish one that tells the truth: meat is destroying the planet. Act now—add your voice. Sign the petition now.
