Frozen Banana Bites [Vegan]

I had three overripe bananas, a broken food processor (couldn’t make my banana bread) and was craving chocolate. So, I decided to make frozen banana bites with just five healthy ingredients. I just died eating this. I've written the recipe down to share with you all from heaven.

Frozen Banana Bites [Vegan]

This Recipe is :

Soy FreeVegan




  • 3 overripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp cacao
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice [to prevent discoloration]
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp raw agave (I used 2 tbsp because the bananas were not very sweet) [optional]


  1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mash bananas until a batter forms with some tiny banana pieces here and there. Taste check this. Please don’t finish them now. You have to freeze these
  2. Arrange all the silcone mini-cupcake molds on a plate that is going to get to the freezer
  3. Spoon 1 Tbsp of the batter into molds and transfer the plate into the freezer-for 6 hours at least and healthy portion-controlled dessert after every meal. You’re very welcome :)


This recipe can be raw. Substitute peanut butter to any raw butter. If you are allergic to nuts, use some seed butter.

Mmmmh !! I had no crunchy peanut butter so I used almond butter and ground hazelnuts

I LOVED THESE! Thank you so much for sharing. I put mine in ice cube trays and used chocolate flavored stevia in favor of agave which is 70% fructose (worse for you than sugar or high-fructose corn syrup). Delicious!

I just started a gluten-free and vegan baked goods and candy company and I am now trying to figure out how to sell frozen treats at a farmers market! I think these would be amazing during the summer! Maybe a cooler of dry ice? :) I just discovered your blog, and now I am excited to read more!

I am calling myself an "accidental vegan" because I started baking with applesauce instead of oil or eggs... I am not actually vegan, yet, but I read more about being vegan I am working harder to become vegan. I have started with breakfast and lunch since I don\'t have to worry about anyone else for those meals.
