How to Prepare Walnut Sage Orecchiette [Vegan]
- Cook the pasta and set aside but don't get rid of the cooking water.
- Then make the lemony walnut sage sauce. Blend all of the ingredients in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
- Season the tomatoes with black pepper and salt and sauté in a pan over medium-high heat with the olive oil.
- Once the tomatoes start to break down add the cooked pasta and 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water. Stir in the lemony walnut sage sauce and add the lemon juice and zest. Cook for a few minutes prior to serving.
