    Unicorn Protein Donuts

    These healthy little donuts not only taste delicious but also look so fun! The pink frosting is berry flavored (blueberry, cranberry, and strawberry) while the blue one is watermelon flavored. These Unicorn Protein Donuts are packed with 'superfoods'

    Ingredients You Need for Unicorn Protein Donuts [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

    For the Donut:

    • 1.23 ounces White Flour
    • 1.4 ounces Wholemeal Flour
    • .88 ounces Protein powder
    • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
    • 1.41 ounces Sugar
    • 1/4 cup almond milk
    • 1 ounce vegan yogurt
    • .7 ounces melted butter or cacao butter beans

    For the Frosting:

    • 1 cup of powdered sugar
    • a few teaspoons pink berry superfood powder
    • a few teaspoons superfood blue powder
    • almond milk as required

    How to Prepare Unicorn Protein Donuts [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

    1. Preheat the oven to 360°F.
    2. Add milk & yogurt and whisk together before adding melted cooled butter, and whisk again.
    3. Sift in flour, protein, and baking powder and mix until just combined ( a few lumps are ok)
    4. Place in silicone or greased non-stick doughnut pan. Bake for approx 14 mins.
    5. Take them out of the oven and let cool before removing.
    6. Mix together 1/2 cup powdered sugar and one tsp of powder in two separate bowls to get the two colours. Gradually add almond milk until you get the desired consistency of frosting.
    7. Once cooled dip the donut in the frosting and then leave for at least 10 minutes to set
