How to Prepare Strawberry Hibiscus Margaritas [Vegan]

    1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiled, add the water to a mug and steep one hibiscus teabag in it. Transfer it to the fridge to cool down. Leave the teabag in so that the tea was on the strong side.
    2. Once cooled, measure out 1 cup of the hibiscus tea and add it to a high speed blender. Remove the green leaves from the strawberries and add the large strawberries to the blender as well. Add the lime juice. Blend until smooth.
    3. Pour the hibiscus/strawberry/lime mixture into a large glass jar or a cocktail shaker. Add the maple syrup, tequila and a large handful of ice. Shake until chilled.
    4. Before serving, use a mesh strainer and strain the mixture over a glass. Top with a splash of sparkling water (optional) or more lime. Best enjoyed fresh.
