Sawsawan: Filipino Spicy Dipping Sauce [Vegan, Gluten-Free]
- 2 cups vinegar
- 1 large red onion, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, pounded
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorn
- 3 red chilis, sliced
- 1 scotch bonnet (Caribbean pepper), minced
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- In a large mason jar, combine all ingredients, mix it well, then cover and refrigerate. Best used after 3 days to let the flavors blend well.
