Ingredients You Need for Raw Chocolate Brownie [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

 For the brownie:

  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup Medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 pinch salt

For the frosting:

  • 1 ripe small avocado
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of your fav sweetener
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to Prepare Raw Chocolate Brownie [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

For the brownie:

  1.  Process everything in your food processor until well combined.
  2.  Spread and press the mixture evenly in a square or rectangular dish, then place in the fridge to set while you prepare the frosting.

For the frosting:

  1.  Blend all ingredients in your high-speed blender (or food processor) until well combined. You should obtain a nice creamy chocolate paste.
  2.  Spread the mixture on top of your base and put everything back in the fridge for about a couple of hours.
  3.  Serve as it is or sprinkle a few extra nuts or dried berries on top for decoration.

  1. These were good! I used a mixture of nuts (whatever I had in the pantry) and they turned out great. I did add a little bit of vanilla extract and agave because I wanted a bit more sweetness. Really like the texture of the chia seeds and coconut!
