Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 lemon
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper flakes

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 425F.
  2. Trim asparagus and arrange on a baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and juice from 1/2 the lemon. Sprinkle as lightly, or as heavily, as you like with salt, pepper, red pepper and cayenne. Toss together. Top with thinly sliced lemon.
  3. Bake 15-20 minutes until tender.
