How to Prepare Halva [Vegan]
- In a saucepan, put the water with sugar and orange peel, stir and boil for 5 minutes and remove it from the heat. In another pot put the oil and toast the semolina at a moderate heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add cinnamon and raisins. Finally, put the saucepan with the sugar and orange syrup on a medium heat and slowly pour in the semolina. Mix constantly and when the mixture is well-combined, remove it from the heat. Pour it into a mold and when it cools down, turn over on a plate.
