Ingredients

  • 2 cups semolina fine
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 3 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • orange peel
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, put the water with sugar and orange peel, stir and boil for 5 minutes and remove it from the heat. In another pot put the oil and toast the semolina at a moderate heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add cinnamon and raisins. Finally, put the saucepan with the sugar and orange syrup on a medium heat and slowly pour in the semolina. Mix constantly and when the mixture is well-combined, remove it from the heat. Pour it into a mold and when it cools down, turn over on a plate.
