Ingredients You Need for French Toast Overnight Oats [Vegan]

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk of choice
  • 1 pitted date, chopped finely
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup plant-based vanilla-flavored yogurt  (optional)
  • pinch of salt
  • maple syrup for topping

How to Prepare French Toast Overnight Oats [Vegan]

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar.
  2. If you'd like to add any extra ingredients (coconut oil, dried fruit, nuts, sunflower seeds), do so now.
  3. Cover, and shake vigorously until ingredients are combined.
  4. Let it sit in refrigerator overnight (or at least a few hours).
  5. In the morning, either heat up or eat cold (this one is best warmed up).
  6. Top with maple syrup (or your syrup/topping of preference, like this warm Maple-Nut Sauce!).
