However, you will still need something nutritious that will sustain you throughout your morning. This smoothie will be ideal, as it cools Pitta and pacifies Vata. Try adding some almond butter if you feel in need of more protein.

Coconut Cucumber Smoothie [Vegan]

Cooking Time



  • 2 cup coconut water
  • 2 cucumbers, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional)


  1. In a blender, add the coconut water, cucumbers, lime juice and almond butter (if using).
  2. Process until it’s smooth and creamy. Drink immediately.
