Ingredients

  • 1 cup or more coconut kefir (or other milk-based kefir), adjusted to taste and consistency
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 handful of leafy greens
  • small handful fresh mint or basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon natural or vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 ripe or frozen avocado
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon high-grade matcha powder (optional, adjusted to taste)
  • 1 to 3 teaspoon peeled grated fresh ginger (optional, adjusted to taste)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric and a pinch of black pepper (optional)
  • sweetener of choice, adjusted to taste (optional)
  • optional toppings:  edible flowers, or toppings of choice
