Omari McQueen is the UK’s youngest chef who is part of For Kids by Kids, a campaign designed to help more UK schools offer plant-based food options in their cafeterias. The campaign is hosted by the Meatless Farm, who chose the UK’s youngest chef to back their cause.

McQueen said, “I am extremely passionate about the sustainability of food and teaching my generation more about where their food is sourced and the long-term environmental impact our food choices can have. I am so excited to partner with Meatless Farm and to be able to share my love of cooking with such a forward-thinking brand.”

This campaign is part of the Meatless Farm’s mission to take meat off of most menus, including in schools.

It is a two-part campaign, with the first being centered around education and showing the children just how delicious and versatile plant-based food can be. The second phase of the campaign will engage with the school directly, helping them to create delicious and nutritious plant-based menus.

It has become obvious that children are more aware than ever about how their diet is impacting the planet and those who live on it. Thus, this is a great time to step in and give them the tools needed to make better food decisions.
