Omari McQueen, 12-Year-Old Jamaican Chef Publishes Vegan Cookbook

Omari McQueen has accomplished a lot for a 12-year-old. The youngest founder of a vegan restaurant and television chef has introduced a new cookbook, according to Jamaicans.com.

The cookbook, “Omari McQueen Best Bites”, shared over 35 easy plant-based recipes, including Jamaican patties, Rocky Roads, and Brown Jackfruit Stew. Omari has his own show on BBC children’s channel and an online vegan dip store called Dipalicious. Chef McQueen is on a roll!


McQueen’s mission is to “bring people together through food without harming animals.” He often quotes his grandfather while discussing his success. “As my great-grandad would say ‘clean heart, clean mind, clean soul, stay humble.'”
