Israeli food-tech firm SavorEat has launched a personalized 3D printing system for their vegan burger patties.
They are one of the first companies to use a 3D printing system for food to cook immediately after, as most vegan meats are made ahead and frozen to be cooked later.
The patties are made primarily from a combination of potato, chickpea, and pea protein. The printing method allows each customer to get a personalized vegan burger patty with however much fat and protein they want.
SavorEat has already released whole cuts of vegan meat into European restaurants and has big plans to expand to the US.
Racheli Vizman, SavorEat’s chief executive, said, “There is a growing segment of people called ‘flexitarian’, people that are actively trying to look for meat alternatives to reduce their meat consumption.”
This new technology is a unique innovation to the plant-based meat market, making plant-based meat alternatives even more exciting. Hopefully, this new technology will encourage those who aren’t vegan to give this realistic substitute a try for themselves.

Reducing your meat intake and eating more plant-based foods is known to help with chronic inflammation, heart health, mental wellbeing, fitness goals, nutritional needs, allergies, gut health, and more! Unfortunately, dairy consumption also has been linked to many health problems, including acne, hormonal imbalance, cancer, prostate cancer, and has many side effects.
For those interested in eating more plant-based, we highly recommend purchasing one of our plant-based cookbooks or downloading the Food Monster App which has thousands of delicious recipes making it the largest vegan recipe resource to help reduce your environmental footprint, save animals and get healthy! And, while you are at it, we encourage you to also learn about the environmental and health benefits of a plant-based diet.
