Northern Island company, Finnebrogue Artisan, won the Guinness World Record for largest vegan burger after cooking up a 358 pound and 4-ounce vegan burger.
The giant vegan burger patty took 10 employees to make. A local baker was also employed to create the giant burger buns.
The burger patty was made with the company’s Naked Evolution Burger recipe. To finish it off, the burger was topped with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vegan cheese, gherkins, vegan bacon, and the company’s burger sauce.
The burger won the award for being the biggest vegan burger in the world, taking 9 hours to cook through. Once judged, the burger was sliced into portions and served to hungry employees for lunch. The rest was donated to a local homeless charity for others to enjoy as well.
This is an amazing feat for any burger, let alone a vegan one. With vegan burgers gaining popularity with so many companies coming out with their own patty formulas, this company is sure to see a skyrocket in sales after this huge accomplishment.
