Frothy and nutritious, when it comes to plant-based milk, it doesn’t get more luxurious than oat milk. Oat milk designer and Instagram hero Oatly isn’t afraid to try new things. In fact, you might say they’re on the cutting edge of h’oat’e-couture.
After debuting their own canned coffee products, as well as their ‘oat’-standing vegan ice creams earlier this year, Oatly announced their most recent creation: Oat yogurt called Oatgurt. The company posted the announcement last Thursday, with an ‘oat’-rageously silly and creative caption.

Oatly is right to point out oat milk is far healthier than cow milk, and is a more thoughtful choice for the environment. Time will tell whether oat yogurt is the real deal, but suffice to say, Oatly is as intrepid a manufacturer as there ever was. With larger companies like Silk tossing their hats into the oat milk arena, companies are forced to get creative. For Oatly, though, creativity doesn’t seem to be a problem.
Of course, you can make all the oat milk you can drink at home, courtesy of the Food Monster App!

This recipe by Kelly Williams is the easiest of easy homemade non-dairy milk recipes. To make Oat Milk, the only equipment you need is a blender and a nut milk bag. Unlike nuts, oats require very little soaking, so you can make a batch in nearly no time. And if you lack a fancy-Pants blender, you’ll still be able to have creamy, delicious non-dairy milk without a trip to the grocery store.
