If you thought avocado toast mania had already reached its peak, we’re here to deliver the news: you haven’t seen anything yet.

Chef Jon Feshan of New York City’s Kola House restaurant has created a next-level avocado experience, and he has decided to serve up the avocado on the biggest piece of “toast”, like, ever — a pizza crust.

Avocado Toast Pizza is now a thing you can order, and the meal features a handmade dough topped with layers of sliced avocado. As for the garnishes? Liberal amounts of cilantro for freshness, radishes for crunch, and sunflower seeds. Only 12 pizzas are served a night, and each pizza costs $18.

“Long weekend goals: Get yourself a piece of Hass!” Kola House wrote on its Instagram.

We love avocados. They’re creamy, rich, have anti-inflammatory benefits, and are full of good-for-you fats. They possess key nutrients such as vitamin K, folate, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, and potassium. But while you can pile it high on top of toast, the circumference of a pizza will allow you to get so much more of the stone fruit into one meal. We get it — so we’re here to help you make the perfect plant-based avocado pizza from the comfort of your home.

First things first: you’re going to need the perfect crust. You have options, here: you could make your pizza with loaves of Italian or French breadbagels, English muffins, tortillas, and flatbreads. If you’re gluten-free, there are also a slew of great options.

This Cauliflower Pizza Crust by Tiana Haines is the perfect vehicle for loads of yummy avocado slices.

The crust is soft and crumbly, and the herbs and toppings are light and fresh. Try this pizza the next time you desire a fun, vegetable-centric dinner.

Next, you’re going to need your sauce. Marinara sauce tends to get the limelight when people are thinking about pizza, but in fact, there are many different kinds of sauces you can top your crust with! Vegan Pesto Sauce is bright and herbaceous, and this dairy-free  Alfredo Sauce could make the base of a fun pizza. In this case, we’re opting for avocado.

Forgo boring sliced pieces of avocado, and use this Avocado and Pea Smash by Buffy-Ellen Gill as your pizza ‘sauce’.

In this mash, avocado, peas, spring onion, parsley, and garlic are combined and drenched in lemon. The tangy and refreshing spread is perfect for topping your pizza.

Finally, you need your garnishes! Honestly, the sky is the limit here. We love how Niki Webster dressed up her gluten-free Avocado Pizza.

Her base of vibrant green avocado-buckwheat crust is topped with even more avocado, olives, pine nuts, and arugula. Talk about a unique pie!

Keep brainstorming, though! We’re no stranger to fun and interesting topping combos at One Green Planet and have enjoyed creative pizzas in our time.
