Tzatziki is a creamy sauce typical in Greece and very popular in neighboring countries. Tzatziki is simple and easy to make and requires a handful of fresh ingredients. While traditional Tzatziki is made using whole Greek yogurt, it can be easily veganized using non-dairy yogurt such as coconut. This garlicky flavor-packed sauce is typically made with fresh dill, vinegar, and lemon juice. You can top this sauce on a vegan chick’n gyro, falafel, sandwiches, your favorite fresh veggies, or even spread it on top of warm pita bread. This classic Greek recipe tastes delicious on almost anything!
