Cat playing with laser

When Spoon’s new humans adopted the 15-year-old rescue cat, they were expecting peaceful days filled with sleepy cat naps. However, the senior tortoiseshell surprised them by still being vivacious and full of energy. In a video posted to the TikTok account @_pancakethecat, Spoon shows off her playful side.

In the video, she can be seen happily chasing a laser with the youthful exuberance of a much younger cat. The text overlay in the video reads “Rescuing spoon at 15.5 years old thinking she’d be in her sleepy kidney and liver failure era.” The next shot reads “Spoon is thriving.” Viewers loved the senior cat, who has received over 483, 400 views on TikTok.
