Stray Dog Spotted and Saved by ‘Angel’

Rainy Day

In a heartwarming display of compassion and selflessness, 13-year-old Cibely Stiegelmair from Brazil saved the life of a stray puppy on a rainy day. The remarkable incident unfolded outside Mayane Rodrigues’ apartment, captivating the attention of onlookers and inspiring the community.

It was a wet and gloomy afternoon when Mayane Rodrigues caught sight of a young girl walking home from school. As the rain poured down, the girl paused on the sidewalk, setting aside her umbrella, removing her backpack, and taking off her jacket. Curiosity piqued, Rodrigues observed a sopping-wet puppy at the girl’s feet, realizing that the girl’s kind gesture was intended for the stranded pup.

Overwhelmed by the sight, Rodrigues captured the touching scene on video and shared it with a friend, who then shared it with a neighborhood group. The video eventually reached Cibely Stiegelmair, the young heroine behind the act of kindness.

Cibely, accompanied by the injured puppy, arrived home drenched from the rain, startling her mother, Rejane Stiegelmair. Initially concerned about her daughter’s condition, Rejane noticed blood on Cibely’s shirt. Relieved to discover that Cibely hadn’t been harmed, she learned that her daughter had found the injured puppy and decided to take matters into her own hands.

Thankfully, the puppy’s injuries were not severe and with Cibely’s love and care, the little canine quickly started to recover. Cibely’s genuine empathy for stray dogs motivated her to offer aid to the helpless puppy she found alone on the sidewalk.

“Cibely has a very good heart. She feels very sorry for stray dogs,” Rejane shared, expressing her admiration for her daughter’s compassionate nature. “If she could bring them all home, she would.”

The rescued puppy, affectionately named Pretinha by Cibely, has found a loving home within the Stiegelmair family. Although the circumstances surrounding Pretinha’s abandonment remain unknown, one thing is certain—thanks to Cibely’s act of kindness, the future is now filled with hope and warmth for the adorable pup.

As news of Cibely’s selflessness spread throughout the community, admiration and praise poured in for the young hero. Rejane expressed the family’s immense pride in Cibely, stating, “As parents, we are proud of Cibely and always have been. But now we’re even more so!”

Cibely Stiegelmair’s actions serve as a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a significant impact on the lives of those in need. Her unwavering compassion and willingness to lend a helping hand, even in the midst of adverse weather conditions, inspire us all to be more caring and considerate towards the vulnerable animals that share our world.
