Millie Bobby Brown Has 62 Pets and One Is an 18-Year-Old Rescue Dachshund

Millie Bobby Brown isn’t just a star on screen — she’s also got a heart for animals, and apparently, a small animal kingdom at home. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the “Stranger Things” actress shared that she currently cares for a jaw-dropping 62 pets, including farm animals, cats, dogs, and even a pregnant donkey.

As reported by BuzzFeed’s Larry Fitzmaurice, Millie broke it down: 25 farm animals, 23 foster dogs, 10 personal dogs, and 4 cats. One of those dogs is an elderly blind dachshund named Rigby, who she rescued from the side of the road. “He is thriving,” she said, proudly. “He starts to look around and he knows where the food is and the bedroom is… He is killing it.”

And yes, this animal-loving celeb even gave her dogs their own beds — although only one is now allowed in the couple’s bed after her husband, Jake Bongiovi, set a firm boundary.

But the wildest part? Her donkey, Betsy, is pregnant — the result of a “great night out” with fellow donkey Bernard. Millie explained she uses donkeys as coyote deterrents to protect her smaller animals, noting that donkeys are surprisingly fierce and will attack dogs if they feel threatened.

Although Millie hasn’t publicly labeled herself an Animal rights activist, her actions speak volumes. From fostering rescues to creating a safe haven for over 60 animals, she’s clearly passionate about giving animals a second chance at life.
