Man’s Dog is Stolen While Being Treated by Medics After Collapsing in the Street

When Joel Banks was being loaded onto an ambulance after collapsing in the street, he never thought that his Staffordshire Bull Terrier would be stolen while he was receiving medical attention.

The 33-year-old man believes that his dog, named Ghost, was taken at the same time that he was being loaded into the back of an ambulance on a stretcher. He said he was walking his dog close to his home when he suddenly fell to the ground unconscious. A passerby called emergency services, and they arrived shortly after.

Reports say that two men were seen walking away with a dog. The men allegedly told the medics that they were good friends with Banks and would look after Ghost while his human was taken to the hospital.

Now, Banks has reported the incident to the police, who are investigating.

‘Ghost is my best friend and my whole world. I’m absolutely devastated.

‘I’ve had him since he was a few weeks old and he goes everywhere with me.’

When he woke up in the hospital the next day, he realized that Ghost had been stolen. Ghost’s other human, Alice Richards, posted on Facebook pleading for the return of their pup.

‘Please help us make him too hot to handle as we just want our little boy home. He suffers from separation anxiety and hasn’t spent a day without us since and we are devastated.’

The police issued a statement saying that they are investigating the allegation, but no arrests have been made. We hope that Ghost is reunited with his humans soon and can’t believe that anyone would do this!
