Heroic Labrador Tries to Alert Family Dad Is “Drowning”

In an unusual TikTok video posted by @kendranesbitt4, a heroic Labrador Retriever can be seen standing on the steps of a cabin frantically barking. The camera then pans over to where a man is floating face down in the water. Although the worried dog appears to be sounding the alarm, the human is fine.

“When your dog gets so stressed when your fam goes into the water but this is just how your dad swims unintentionally” text overlay on the video reads. The accompanying caption reassures viewers that the man is not intentionally stressing out the loyal Lab. “He’s not antagonizing her, he’s just deaf…and likes to float like this” it reads. Although the man’s swimming position seems odd to the dog (and many viewers), others were relieved to realize it wasn’t only their parents who swim like this. User ezzyyyyybb wrote, “my dad can ONLY float like this.” Despite the man being fine, many also praised the heroic Labrador for sounding the alarm.
