Snuffles and Blossom are a pair of unlikely friends who have both been the victims of human cruelty during their short lives. Blossom is a former dairy calf who was left for dead when she was only a week and a half old. Snuffles the piglet is a three-month-old baby who was given as a gift to a couple who thought they wanted a “teacup” pot bellied pig.

Both Snuffles and Blossom were rejected by the people who were designated to care for them and left with nowhere to go. Thankfully, as fate would have it, both ended up in the best place possible – Edgar’s Mission Farm Animal Sanctuary.

Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary is an amazing place dedicated to saving farm animals and fulfilling its mission of kindness. The fantastic people at Edgar’s Mission believe that every animal deserves the chance to live a happy, healthy life on their own terms, and they do all that they can to make this possible for the animals in their care.

When Snuffles first arrived he was a bit shy, so the smart thinking Edgar’s staff thought a friend might help him adjust. As you can see in this video, when Snuffles and Blossom met it was love at first sight! With the help of their friendship, these two rescued babies are sure to grow up nice and strong!
