We have read about and seen countless dogs who have been put into unimaginable situations and come out thriving. Dogs in wheelchairs are no exception. Whether they are born without the ability to use their legs or an accident happens causing it, dogs in wheelchairs are beacons of light that showcase the spirit of canines.

1. Noodle

This pup not only rocks her wheelchair, but she does it while traversing trails. Noodle, according to her parents, is just like any other puppy: full of life and energy! When she was adopted as a stray, she already couldn’t use her back legs. Her physical therapist humans were ready to bring her into the family.

Chance was born without his front legs. But, a group of school students stepped in to make a difference and create a wheelchair for the four-month-old puppy.

JD, according to his human, walked like someone who was incredibly drunk. Unfortunately, his brain doesn’t talk to his muscles so he struggles to walk at all. His dad knew that he needed a wheelchair, but he couldn’t afford one. Until people stepped up in GoFundMe and he was able to get what he needed.

This sanctuary in Thailand goes above and beyond when it comes to dogs who need wheelchairs. They provide a safe space for them and help them get the equipment they need to live a full life.

Dogs, no matter their abilities, deserve a life full of playing, running, jumping, and happiness. Through the use of wheelchairs, the dogs above have been able to live the life any dog should.
