Dams are choking the life out of our rivers—damaging ecosystems, blocking fish migrations, and violating Indigenous rights. But we’ve seen what’s possible when action is taken: the largest dam removal in U.S. history on the Klamath River has just been completed. Salmon can swim upstream again, ecosystems are healing, and Indigenous communities like the Yurok Tribe are reclaiming ancestral waters.

We must keep this momentum going. Sign the petition now to demand that U.S. state and federal agencies commit to removing more harmful dams.

The four dams—Iron Gate, Copco 1, Copco 2, and JC Boyle—had blocked the Klamath River for over 100 years. Their removal proves progress is possible when people unite for wildlife and justice.

Communities, rivers, and endangered species can’t wait. Let’s restore balance, respect Indigenous rights, and fight for nature.
