Alexis Croswell is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, located in the wonderful mitten shaped state of Michigan. She became vegan over a period of years sparked by a love of her childhood pet greyhound, Zolo. She has interned with leading animal rights organizations Mercy for Animals, Compassion over Killing, and Farm Sanctuary. She has previously written for local Grand Rapids publications including, Vegangr.com, Doorganics, and Dogs Unleashed. She is excited each day to be a part of the One Green Planet team, and always strives to learn more about the world we all live in.
