When Joy was still a newborn, he had been abandoned on a sidewalk. Newborn pups are blind, deaf, toothless, unable to maintain their body temperature, and very fragile. Even though it’s really hard to raise orphaned newborns, Howl Of A Dog was up for the challenge. Without their amazing rescue work, Joy probably wouldn’t have made it.
The rescue raised Joy from a tiny little ball of fur to the happy little ball of energy that he is now. He found his favorite toy, a stuffed white Siberian Tiger, which was almost the same size as him! Even though the toy was stuffed, being friends with a tiger prepared Joy to be a brave little pup. He had no fear when it came to meeting dogs. All he wanted to do was play with them!
Two weeks before Christmas, a family from the Netherlands reached out to adopt Joy and drove to Vienna to meet the rescue and personally pick Joy up! Now he is living out an awesome life with his forever family. He even brought along his little stuffed tiger!
Joy’s story brought joy to our days, we hope his story does the same for you!
