A heartwarming video went viral of a neighborhood dog making a safe return after being missing for a week.
An Instagram video posted by Street Dogs of Bombay (@streetdogsofbombay) shows the neighborhood gathering and cheering as the dog makes his return.
According to the Instagram post, the pup, Whiskey, was lost on February 8th and found a week later roughly seven kilometers away. A campaign titled ‘Finding Whiskey’ was started to bring the dog back home.
The post said the neighborhood was incredibly sad when they couldn’t find sweet Whiskey.
“The society people were sad some of them left eating food because of the attachment they had with whiskey, sleepless nights and then when they came to hear that whiskey is found that’s how he was welcomed back 🥺.”
The video shows residents cheering from balconies and all through the block as the dog arrives home in a taxi. Whiskey is greeted with aarti, flowers, and lots of pets.
The pure video touched the hearts of many.
“Whiskey means alot to us❤️ and he is just not a dog🐾.”
