Britney Spears and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, have added two new furry friends to their family. The couple returned from a vacation in Hawaii in January, and Spears announced on her Instagram that she found a precious Australian Shepard puppy and couldn’t resist taking him home.

The adorable fluffy puppy named Sawyer has bright blue eyes and white and tan fur. Both animals were adopted, according to KIISFM, who also reported on her adoption of a Doberman puppy last year.

“I’m introducing the new edition to my family … his name is Sawyer, and he’s a white Australian shepherd with blue eyes !!!!!” Spears captioned a sweet video with her new pup. “I think he understands me especially with those eyes 😍 … he makes my heart melt … he needs me and I like that !!!!!”

In the same post, Spears announced that they also welcomed a new French cat that she plans on introducing later.

“My cat is French and very peculiar … she looks at food as if she is 30 for two min before she eats it … she’s extremely smart and she looks like a miniature cheetah 🐆 !!!!” she wrote. “Anyways I have a house FULL of small animals and I like it besides the potty training 😂💩 !!!!”

Some Britney fans were shocked when there was a comment from her estranged mother, Lynne Spears. Last November, in a since-deleted post, Britney claimed her mother gave her father, Jamie Spears, the idea to begin her conservatorship.

Lynne commented, “The most beautiful pup ever with blue eyes!!!” leaving fans wondering if she’ll be in the lives of Spears’ new furry friends.
