When this woman first got her bunny, Guus, she never knew how much of a giant love bug he was going to be. Guus is more like a dog than a bunny, according to his humans. He is a cheeky Flemish Giant who lives in Amsterdam and loves to play. Guus loves to follow his humans around the house and gnaw on raw celery.
“I always call him a little koala bear with very big ears,” his human told GeoBeats Animals.
When you come home with groceries, however, you have to watch out for Guus. If you look away for just one second, your groceries could be gone, says his human.

If you’re thinking of adopting a rabbit (we strongly discourage buying one from a pet shop), there are a few things you should know before welcoming one into your home. Unlike a kitten or even a puppy, rabbits take a significant amount of time, space, and patience. Rabbits may be exciting at first. After all, getting a new pet and family member is a big deal. However, expectations need to be managed within a family before committing to a rabbit. They are high-maintenance, and the return is significantly lower than that of an excited puppy or cuddly cat.
Rabbit regret is a real thing, so prospective owners are always encouraged to do plenty of research and consider the types of personality in a household before welcoming a sensitive rabbit into the space.
