What an amazing rescue! It’s so heartwarming to hear about people who take the time to help animals in need.
@jays_rabbit_rescue I know you aren’t supposed to get rabbits wet, but this was a special case. His fur was caked with mud and needed a quick way to cool down but wasnt to cold #RabbitRescue #rescue #bunny #animals #floppitylopity #cute #rabbitsoftiktok #rabbit #babybunny #JaysRabbitRescue ♬ Fewer notes, cute acoustic BGM(90561) – Kawasaki Yasuhiro(Atelier LadyBird)
This poor rabbit was found in a dire situation, suffering from heat stroke and covered in mud. It’s likely that the rabbit was in a state of shock when he was found, and it must have been a frightening experience for the gentle and timid creature. Fortunately, the kind people who found the rabbit were able to clean him off and provide him with the care it needed.
@jays_rabbit_rescue Replying to @doglover35578 #greenscreen 💜I am aware of the dangers of bathing a bunny, but there really was no other choice. The amount of hate I got even after explaining his situation, was unreal. ☮️He is breathing, walking, eating and drinking water because he now has the ability to. I understand you’re worried but he is OK, I knew what I was doing. I understand people are concerned, but being kind of goes a long way. ❤️He needs a name, one as special as a story!! Leave ideas in the comments!!❤️ if you have questions or concerns feel free to ask in the comments, I would be happy to respond. But do it respectfully🙏 #rescue #RabbitRescue #bunny #animals #floppitylopity #cute #rabbitsoftiktok #rabbit #babybunny #babyanimals ♬ Loose Lo-Fi sound + Japanese musical instrument – xxxHaToxxx
There was so much mud covering the rabbit’s fur that it was restricting his breathing and movement. It was even covering his eyes and ears so much so that he almost did not resemble a rabbit. His rescuers recalled the moment they spotted him, saying, “he looked like a rock”!
The mud was trapping heat, so the rescuers had to move quickly. They tried breaking the mud into smaller clumps and even tried bathing him as a last resort, although this was dangerous for their survival. They knew this was the best chance they had at saving his life, and they were right.
@jays_rabbit_rescue Replying to @IrishDiamond he should be able to find his fur-ever home very soon!!! Anyone looking for a pet bunny?❤️❤️#rescue #RabbitRescue #bunny #animals #floppitylopity #cute #rabbit #babybunny #savetherabbits #babyanimals #JaysRabbitRescue ♬ Monkeys Spinning Monkeys – Kevin MacLeod & Kevin The Monkey
With their quick thinking and efficiency, the rabbit is now very happy and active. He is breathing and moving normally again, playing, and receiving the necessary veterinary care.
It’s wonderful that the rabbit was able to make a full recovery and is now living a happy and healthy life. It’s amazing how much of a difference a simple act of kindness can make in the life of an animal. It’s also a reminder of how important it is to be aware of our environment and the creatures that inhabit it.
