Some creatures, like the mighty bear, hibernate in winter. But for Duke, a delightful Golden Retriever, his retreat is his swimming pool, and no storm can budge him! This loveable furball’s refusal to exit his pool during a rainstorm, captured in a TikTok video, has brought delight to millions.

Kimberly Clark, Duke’s owner, uploaded the video where she can be heard trying to coax him out due to an approaching storm. But Duke was having none of it. Despite his owner’s pleas, Duke frolics and floats around in his beloved pool, even shooting her a “hurt” glance when asked to exit the water. This stubborn stand-off has racked up a whopping 2.9 million views since its posting on June 17.
