About the Authors:
A food enthusiast, Tami has been vegetarian or vegan since 1980. Her love of great cooking became a springboard for creating deliciously satisfying recipes at home. From cooking with her mom as a child, to working in restaurants, and creating her own recipes all along the way, Tami is continually experimenting with ingredients and techniques. For more of Tami’s great recipes and food photos, visit her blog at www.veganappetite.com.
Celine was born and raised in Switzerland, but moved to the United States in 1999 and has lived there ever since. Her favorite pastimes include biking, being a nuisance to her cats and husband, baking, and food photography. She is the founder of a blog called Have Cake, Will Travel.
The One Green Planet Verdict: No one will ever pick up this cookbook and put it down wondering, “So, what do vegans eat?”
While there are some spin-offs of vegan staples like the Protein Happy Quinoa Wraps, most of the dishes here are likely to boggle your imagination. Ever had a Blueberry and Corn Pancake Sandwich with Lemony Filling? You can find that recipe in the “Rise and ‘Wich” breakfast chapter. Some might admit to craving the Retro KFC-Style Sandwich that is a take on the restaurant version. The first time I picked up the book I had to stop and close the book at about page 114 at the Peanut Butter Banana Bacon Sandwich because my mouth was watering so much!
The authors are spot on in calling this book revolutionary, at least when it comes to the world of vegan sandwiches. This witty, colorful, creative cookbook will inspire both the laziest cook and the seasoned chef.

My favorite place to eat vegan sandwiches? My own home! I live in a small town where very little vegan grub is available, outside my kitchen that is. Had I lived in the SF Area, Ike’s Place might have been my answer ;o)
Thank you for this great giveaway! I loved Celine’s Hearty Vegan Meals for Monster Appetites and I cannot wait to get my hands on this one.
