These turmeric falafel balls are moist and fluffy, and with a teaspoon of turmeric and just a teaspoon of olive oil, they are flavorful, but not too heavy.

Ingredients You Need for Turmeric Falafel [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  • 1 14-ounce can chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons aquafaba (liquid from a can of chickpeas)
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Prepare Turmeric Falafel [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  1. Preheat oven to 390°F
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Form balls with your hands.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes.
