  • Pizza dough of choice
  • 3 ounces kale chopped
  • 1 batch tempeh bacon
  • 1 batch vegan cheese sauce
  • 1 heaping cup onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • Salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Prepare the tempeh bacon according to the directions.
  2. Heat some olive oil (or vegetable broth for oil free cooking) in a skillet and briefly fry the garlic and the onions for two minutes.
  3. Add the kale and fry them for a further three minutes then, season them with salt and pepper. Set them aside.
  4. Sprinkle some prepared cheese sauce over the dough, followed by the kale mix from the skillet.
  5. Finally, top this with the tempeh bacon and bake it for 12 minutes at 405°F.
