If you're active of just busy, then these 5-ingredient energy bars are a lifesaver. Made from dates, tahini, coconut, cacao nibs, and lime juice, the food processor takes care of most of the work. They're tasty, portable, and packed with nutrients for such an easy snack.

Ingredients You Need for 5-Ingredient Tahini Energy Bars [Vegan]

  • 10 Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Cacao nibs

How to Prepare 5-Ingredient Tahini Energy Bars [Vegan]

  1. Place pitted dates in the food processor and process until broken down. Next, add the tahini. Once that is well blended, add the coconut and process. Finish by adding the lime juice. Once it is all well combined remove dough-like batter to a bowl, and using a spoon mix in your desired amount of cacao nibs.
  2. Roll the dough into a large ball and place between 2 sheets of parchment paper and using a rolling pin, roll flat until about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Place in freezer for a few hours, then carefully use a knife or cookie cutter to cut them into desired shapes.
  4. Store in freezer.
