For the Filling:

  • 28.2 ounces Ripe Plums pitted, sliced
  • 1.75 ounces (Brown) Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose Flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

For the Crumbles:

  • 7 ounces all-purpose Flour
  • 3.5 ounces rolled Oats
  • 5.3 ounces plant-based Butter melted
  • 5.3 ounces (Brown) Sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

Preparation

For The Plump Filling:

  1. Preheat the oven to 345 °F
  2. Wash the plums and pit them. Then, cut them in half and cut each half in 3 pieces.
  3. Take a big bowl, add the plums and the rest of the ingredients for the filling and mix well. Set aside.

For The Crumbles:

  1. Simply mix together all the ingredients for the crumbles. Use your hand to combine everything, until you have crumbles.
  2. Take the casserole dish and pour the plum mix into it and even it out.
  3. Now, take the crumbles and sprinkle them over the plums. Cover the plums completely.
  4. Transfer the casserole dish to the oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until the crumbles have turned golden.
  5. When the plum crumble is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you eat it – it will be very hot!
  6. Feel free to add vegan vanilla ice cream and drizzle some vegan caramel sauce on top.
