Ingredients You Need for Pink Layered Breakfast Jars [Vegan]
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or sweetener of choice
- 1/2 teaspoon pitaya powder optional, for color
Smoothie / nice cream
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup puffed millet optional, or puffed grains of choice
How to Prepare Pink Layered Breakfast Jars [Vegan]
In a jar/bowl, mix together the chia pudding ingredients and let set in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Mix after the first hour to ensure that the liquid gets absorbed well.
If you want to add some color, transfer half of the chia pudding to another jar and mix in pitaya powder.
When ready to eat, blend the bananas and strawberries in a blender/food processor, adding a splash of liquid if needed.
Once the nice cream is smooth and creamy, start layering your jars if you want. From bottom to top, layer the chia pudding mixtures, then puffed millet, then nice cream.
