Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguini
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 7 ounces tomato juice
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup olives, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons capers,
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 sprigs of fresh oregano
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Put the two kinds of tomatoes in the pot, the garlic and the oregano and let them boil over medium heat.
  2. In the meantime boil the pasta according to the packaging instructions. When the sauce has thickened, add the oil, olives and capers and allow to boil. Salt and pepper.
  3. Strain the linguini and toss it in the saucepan with the sauce. Stir to cover. Serve immediately.
