You guys know how us healthy living bloggers just loooove a good green smoothie. Well, I’ve got a doozy for you here. Fresh mint, plenty of citrus, greens, ginger, chia seeds…you just can’t go wrong with this baby. I drank it while singing Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” because I was in love with drinking this smoothie…that works, right? Go ahead, try it. It might look scary, but it’s actually so refreshing and full of nutrients. Your body will thank you. Just keep sippin’. I used swiss chard in my Mint-Citrus Green Smoothie but you could substitute spinach or kale. If you’re new to green smoothies, I’d suggest spinach because it’s easily masked by the banana and citrus -- you won’t taste it at all. I use dates for a bit of sweetness, but you could also use a bit of maple syrup, coconut syrup, stevia, etc.
