Ingredients You Need for Buffalo Cauliflower Wings [Vegan]

For the Cauliflower Wings:

  • 3/4 cup Almond Milk
  • 2 Chive & Garlic vegan Egg Sub
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Head of Cauliflower
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • 2/3 cup Bread Crumbs*
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

For the Buffalo Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup Frank's Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/4 cup vegan Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup (optional)

How to Prepare Buffalo Cauliflower Wings [Vegan]

For the Cauliflower Wings:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Chop a head of cauliflower into small bite-sized chunks. Wash and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine almond milk, Eggcitables, and apple cider vinegar.
  4. In a wide and shallow bowl, combine flour, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss a few pieces of cauliflower at a time in the almond milk mixture.
  6. Transfer cauliflower into the bread crumb mixture with a fork and roll until evenly coated.
  7. Arrange the breaded cauliflower wings on the baking sheet in an even layer.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes. Flip, and bake 15 minutes.

For the Buffalo Sauce:

  1. While the cauliflower wings are baking, melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Mix buffalo sauce and ketchup into the melted butter.
  3. Toss the wings in the buffalo sauce, bake for another 10 minutes, flipping half way through.
  4. Serve with your favorite dip, in a sandwich, or on a pizza.
