  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup vegan dark chocolate, shredded

For the Ice Cream:

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • A sprinkle of ground vanilla

How to Prepare Black Bean Brownies With Two-Ingredient Ice Cream [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

To Make the Ice Cream:

  1. Mix all the ice cream ingredients in a food processor or magic bullet until they're well incorporated.
  2. Pour them into a freezer-safe container and freeze them until set (usually overnight).

To Make the Brownies:

  1. Mix all ingredients, except the 1/2 cup of vegan dark chocolate, in a food processor.
  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl, add the chocolate, and pour it into a brownie tin lined with coconut oil. Bake in the oven at 350°C for 25 minutes or until slightly browned and hard on top.
