I noticed when I found this recipe that it had no comments which usually makes me less willing to try a recipe so I thought I\’d add one. I made these Sunday for a brunch party and they were delicious! Perfectly moist and flavorful and VERY easy to make. I reduced the maple syrup by about a 1/3 and used a regular egg since I was out of flax seed and we\’re not vegan. I was also too lazy to slice apples and layer them over the spread-out batter so I just cubed them and mixed them right into the batter. The crumb topping will adhere much better if you don\’t do that but they were still perfect!
