For the sixth year in a row, Vegfest UK London returns with plant based caterers and exhibitors from around the world. The event will be held at the Olympia London from October 27th to 28th.
While newer Vegfests have cropped up in cities like St. Louis, Philadelphia, and Portland, Vegfest London is particularly huge. There are 275 exhibitors at this year’s Vegfest, and 25 caterers. There will also be live events featuring experts, artists, cooking expositions, and films. Vegfest London will not focus solely on plant-based eating. Exhibitions on fitness, environment, healthy living, activism and holistic practices will also be featured at Vegfest UK for anyone interested.
The success of Vegfest UK London over the years points to a growing trend in Britain. Plant-based diets are more prevalent than ever in the UK, with over 3.5 million vegans in the country. To give you some scope, that’ that’s 7% of the population, compared to 0.5% in the United States. Businesses in England have been making the adjustment, with major grocery stores stocking plant-based products en masse, and retailers who traditionally make meat products quickly adding plant-based proteins to their product lines. Plant-based restaurants have blossomed in the UK as well, creating vegan takes on some of the most classic British favorites.
As Vegfest UK continues to grow, it’s safe to assume the plant-based movement will remain strong in the country for the foreseeable future. It’s good news for anyone on a plant-based diet, but even occasional plant eaters will find something to enjoy at Vegfest.

They are then threaded on a skewer and grilled until cooked through and charred. These kebabs are easy, smoky, and absolutely delicious.
