Nasoya Continues to Lead the Plant-Based Movement with New Chick’n Alternative

Nasoya, known for its top-tier tofu, has once again set its sights on innovation with the debut of Plantspired Plant-Based Chick’n. This latest addition to Nasoya’s repertoire signifies its expanding footprint in the plant-based meat landscape.

Available this month at select Albertsons and Meijer stores, Plantspired Plant-Based Chick’n arrives in two tantalizing Asian-inspired flavors: Kung-Pao and Bee-Free Honey Garlic. The introduction of Plantspired Plant-Based Chick’n follows the resounding success of Nasoya‘s Plantspired Plant-Based Steak in 2022, which witnessed a remarkable 155% surge in sales in 2023. Ellen Kim, Director of Marketing Communications & Consumer Insights at Pulmuone, Nasoya’s parent company, expressed excitement about the new launch, stating, “We are thrilled to see Plantspired Steak enjoyed by so many consumers… and knew they were hungry for additional plant-based options that featured exciting global flavors.”

Recognizing chicken as the most consumed animal protein in the United States, Nasoya embarked on crafting a plant-based alternative that not only matches but surpasses its meat counterpart in taste and texture. The result? Plantspired Plant-Based Chick’n, boasting a succulent, meat-like texture infused with authentic Asian flavors. With a simple ingredient list comprising high-quality, non-GMO components, this offering stays true to Nasoya’s ethos of delivering nutritious, sustainable products.

Each package of Plantspired Chick’n packs a punch with up to 45g of plant-based protein, making it a hearty addition to any meal. Pre-cut and pre-seasoned, these Chick’n bites are ready to heat and enjoy within minutes, requiring minimal effort for maximum satisfaction. Moreover, both flavor variants come with a separate sauce packet, allowing for a customizable dining experience tailored to individual preferences.
