Disney has finally completed its mission to include a more diverse range of foods for Disney visitors to enjoy on vacation.

This comes after a long wait from the company’s fans who wanted healthier and vegan-friendly foods to enjoy.

Dietician and manager of health and wellness for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Cheryl Dolven, said, “At the end of the day our goal was to ensure that our guests, whether they were living a vegan lifestyle, looking to eat a little bit less meat or wanting to try new and different things, would be able to find fun and flavorful plant-based menu items across our parks and resorts. We didn’t just want it to offer a few basic things — we really wanted those plant-based options to be plentiful and an integrated part of our guest experience”

Disney fans can now find veganized versions of classic Disney dishes, including spaghetti and meatballs made with Impossible meatballs. They can also find a vegetable wellington made with an assortment of veggies instead of meat. Even the Jungle Skipper Canteen is incorporating more vegan and vegetarian dishes on its menu for guests!

Disney recently got into a bit of hot water after suggesting that cutting back on its portion sizes might help visitors’ waistlines. This did not go over well, but the idea of having more healthy options available is still desired.

Now Disney guests can find vegan and vegetarian options, as well as healthier food options all over the amusement park.
